Artists need space to work. Artists also don't enjoy when their equipment and studio get damaged by mold, mildew, and moisture. So This homeowner called us to join the band and string together a new basement fit for the king of Waukesha. We are super excited with how this transformation came together, but not as excited as this homeowner is to have a new space that he can jam out in.
In Waukesha, WI, a homeowner who has lived in their home since December 2021 is planning a comprehensive basement finishing project. The 2,000 sq ft basement currently has concrete floors, non-insulated walls, and an exposed ceiling, with stubbing for a bathroom. The project will include creating a 476 sq ft open-concept entertainment space, a separate 294 sq ft entertainment room, and a full bath. The homeowner is also looking to install a new doorway to improve access to the basement, as the current entrance is through the front hall, which they prefer to avoid for regular use during the project.
These homeowners in Waukesha, WI wanted to expand their living space in their Ranch home. They had a teenager in the home and wanted to have an additional space where they could relax and watch TV. This way they could gain their adult space back upstairs and their teenager would have a space to hang out with friends. They did some research and gave us a call to set up a free design consultation with one of our design specialists and the rest was history after that. Our design specialist, Shane Rugg, met with them and explained our moisture and mold resistant products, as well as, assisted them in putting together a design and layout that met everything they were hoping for while keeping it within their budget.
These homeowners fell in love with our products and the professionalism of our company, and couldn't wait to get their basement project started. Our team completely transformed their basement from a dark and gloomy storage space into this spacious rec room/family room with our EverLast Vinyl Walls and Linen Ceiling Tiles! Now, these homeowners finally have the living space they needed and they couldn't be happier with the finished product!
They didn’t settle for the dark side or the damp side, instead choosing to invite a new clean, healthy, livable space into their home. With our help, their basement is now ready for their little Star Wars fan for years to come!
Not wanting to see the unfinished stairs, pipes, and personal stuff a half wall was added and the stairs were enclosed. This is a great way to add a finishing touch to your basement space.
