This Bayside, WI basement had been finished by it's previous homeowners back in the '70s or '80s with outdated wood paneling. The new homeowners had wanted to remodel the basement ever since they had purchased the home but just hadn't had the time. Recently they had their sump pump fail and their basement flooded, damaging the wood paneling. They were excited to finally get their basement remodeled but now had some new reservations about finishing the basement. Now, they were afraid that if they finished the basement, it could potentially all get damaged years down the road if water ever gets into the basement again.
Solution
