Complete Remodel of a 1950's Basement in Milwaukee, WI

These homeowners in Milwaukee, WI had owned their home for thirty years and had wanted to refinish their basement since the day they had moved in. The home was built in 1953 and the basement had been finished not too long after by one of the previous homeowners. Now, the basement's wood paneling and 60's decor was outdated and the homeowners wanted to rip everything out and start from scratch, but they had no clue where to begin. With the home being as old as it was, they wanted to make sure that they finished their basement the right way so they don't have any surprises down the road and be forced to do this all over again.
